在亚太经合组织（APEC）和G20峰会召开之前，中国国际电视台（CGTN）《Global Watch》栏目日前以“Latin American Youth in China: Brazilian student's martial arts dream flourishes in China（拉美青年在中国：巴西学生的武术梦想在中国绽放）”为题，报道在湖北大学追逐武术梦想的巴西留学生马飞龙。报道中英文如下。

With Latin America in the spotlight ahead of the APEC and G20 summits, CGTN presents a special series on young Latin Americans making waves in China. Today, Yang Jinghao introduces us to a Brazilian student chasing his martial arts dream.

在亚太经合组织（APEC）和G20峰会召开之前，拉美已成为人们关注的焦点。为此，CGTN特别推出系列报道，介绍在中国掀起热潮的拉美青年。今天，杨景皓将为我们介绍一位追逐武术梦想的巴西学生。

These students from Hubei University in central China are preparing for performances in Europe. Miguel, known as Ma Feilong in China, stands out as the only international face.

这些来自中国中部湖北大学的学生正在为赴欧洲演出做准备。在中国被称为“马飞龙”的MIGUEL DE OLIVEIRA MANACERO是队伍中唯一的国际面孔。

MIGUEL DE OLIVEIRA MANACERO Student, Hubei University "I feel pretty excited as a foreigner that I get the opportunity to go together with the troupe and show a little bit of what I'm learning here."

湖北大学学生MIGUEL DE OLIVEIRA MANACERO说：“作为一个外国人，能有机会和演出团一起出去，展示一下我在这里学到的东西，我感到非常兴奋。”

Feilong took up Chinese martial arts, or Wushu, at age 10. Five years ago, he set his sights on China as the place to bring his Kungfu dream to life.

飞龙从10 岁开始学习中国武术。五年前，他把目光投向了中国，希望在这里实现自己的功夫梦想。

MIGUEL DE OLIVEIRA MANACERO Student, Hubei University "I started learning southern styles of Wushu when I was back in Brazil. After I came to China, I started learning Tai Chi. I also started learning Wudang, which is one of the styles that most represents here in Hubei Province. Besides that, I also trained a few of the northwest styles, like Pi Gua."

湖北大学学生MIGUEL DE OLIVEIRA MANACERO说：“我在巴西时就开始学习南方武术。来到中国后，我开始学习太极拳。我还学了武当拳，这是湖北省最有代表性的拳种之一。除此之外，我还练了一些西北拳法，比如劈挂拳。”

Now pursuing his master's degree in physical education, Feilong says his experience here has not only taught him martial arts techniques, but also the art of teaching.

如今，飞龙正在攻读体育教育硕士学位，他说在这里的经历不仅让他学会了武术技巧，也学会了教学的艺术。

MIGUEL DE OLIVEIRA MANACERO Student, Hubei University "Imagine you're inside the water and you lift your arms, there is a force of the water that's going against you. So, when you go up, your arm is going through the water. And then when you push down, it's the same thing."

湖北大学学生MIGUEL DE OLIVEIRA MANACERO说：“想象你在水里，当你抬起手臂时，会感受到水的阻力。当你起身时，手臂会穿过水面。而当你向下推时，也是一样的感觉。”

For Feilong, Wushu isn't just about showcasing moves. He says that even the simple "fist and palm salute" carries profound cultural meaning.

对飞龙来说，武术不仅仅是展示动作。他说，即使是简单的“抱拳礼”，也蕴含着深刻的文化内涵。

MIGUEL DE OLIVEIRA MANACERO Student, Hubei University "When you're starting, most of us just start thinking about the movements. The further you go inside, you're gonna start to know all the background that you have behind it. That's what makes you fall even more in love with it, because you see the whole deepness that you have in this."

湖北大学学生MIGUEL DE OLIVEIRA MANACERO说：“刚开始学的时候，我们大多数人都只关注动作本身。但当你深入其中时，你就会开始了解它背后所有的故事。越了解，越深爱。”

With Wushu shaping his life, Feilong hopes to spread this passion far and wide.

武术塑造了飞龙的人生，他希望将这份热爱传播得更远更广。

MIGUEL DE OLIVEIRA MANACERO Student, Hubei University "My goal is to get everything that I learned in Wushu and dragon and lion dancing and spread it to the most people that I can all around the world, so, more people get to know this art that changed my life."

湖北大学学生MIGUEL DE OLIVEIRA MANACERO说：“我的目标是把我在武术和舞龙舞狮中学到的一切，尽可能多地传播给全世界的人，让更多的人了解这门改变了我一生的艺术。”
